About Ian Michael Fontenot, DDS
Born and raised in Ville Platte, Dr. Fontenot has strong roots in the Acadiana area. At a young age, his parents taught him about the importance of customer and patient care. With Dr. Fontenot’s mother as a registered nurse and his father, an established family dentist in Ville Platte, he learned early on to take pride in caring for patients. He graduated from LSU Alexandria – Magna Cum Laude – with a BS in Biological Sciences and later furthered his education, receiving a Doctorate of Dental Surgery from LSU Health Science Center in New Orleans. Dr. Fontenot graduated top of his class at LSU with many prestigious awards.
