Dental Implant Procedures by Dr Jobst

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a root-form titanium screw that is surgically placed in the jaw to create an anchor for teeth to be built upon. Dental implants are considered the best way to replace missing teeth.procedure before image Dental Implantsprocedure after image Dental Implants

Single Posterior Implant

The majority of dental implants involve the replacement of a back tooth. Referred to as a single posterior implant, this procedure is typically less complex and less costly than many people expect.procedure before image Single Posterior Implantprocedure after image Single Posterior Implant

Front Tooth Implant

Dental implants are an excellent option for replacing a missing front tooth in most cases. Front tooth implants are not as common as dental implants replacing missing molars or back teeth.procedure before image Front Tooth Implantprocedure after image Front Tooth Implant

Full Mouth Implants

Missing most or all of your teeth due to damage, periodontal disease, or tooth decay? Full mouth dental implants, which your dentist may call full mouth restoration or reconstruction, can be a great option.procedure before image Full Mouth Implantsprocedure after image Full Mouth Implants

Tooth Extractions

Sometimes referred to as “having a tooth pulled,” a tooth extraction is a very common oral surgical procedure in which a natural tooth is removed from the jaw. An implant may be placed after adequate healing time.procedure before image Tooth Extractionsprocedure after image Tooth Extractions

Socket Preservation

Socket preservations are simple bone grafting procedures done in conjunction with tooth extractions. The goal of socket preservation is to preserve bone for a future dental implant to be placed.procedure before image Socket Preservationprocedure after image Socket Preservation

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a cap or cover that protects the tooth and restores it to mimic natural shape, size, and function. Crowns are make of zirconia or porcelain and can be either cemented or screw-retained.procedure before image Dental Crownsprocedure after image Dental Crowns

Screw Retained Crowns

A screw-retained implant crown is a single-tooth fixed restoration that is secured to a dental implant by means of a screw. Screw retained crowns are popular due to the proven long-term success they deliver.procedure before image Screw Retained Crownsprocedure after image Screw Retained Crowns

Cemented Crowns

A cemented crown is a dental crown that is secured to a dental implant using a luting agent similar to dental crowns cemented onto natural teeth. Cemented crowns are beautiful, functional, and extremely durable.procedure before image Cemented Crownsprocedure after image Cemented Crowns

Dental Bridges

An implant bridge or dental bridge is a permanent option that replaces multiple missing teeth. It literally bridges areas that are missing one or more teeth and fill in larger spaces with natural looking crowns.procedure before image Dental Bridgesprocedure after image Dental Bridges

Dentures

Often made of plastic, acrylic or hard resin, dentures are outdated replacements for missing teeth that must be removed daily for cleaning. Patients typically dislike dentures and have difficulty chewing with them.procedure before image Denturesprocedure after image Dentures

Locator Overdentures

Also known as the LODI System, Locator overdentures use abutments (posts) and attachments (snaps) to secure a removable denture to dental implants. This system allows many patients to wear and use lower dentures.procedure before image Locator Overdenturesprocedure after image Locator Overdentures

Overdentures

Overdentures help solve many of the problems associated with wearing regular false teeth. Dental implants can anchor over dentures in place so they don’t move around when chewing, smiling, or talking.procedure before image Overdenturesprocedure after image Overdentures

Partial Dentures

Partial removable dentures, sometimes referred to as "partials," are removable dental appliances that replace one or more missing teeth. The replacement teeth are attached to a gum-colored acrylic base.procedure before image Partial Denturesprocedure after image Partial Dentures

Implant Cosmetics

The goal of implant cosmetic dentistry is to create tooth-like restorations that are strong, mimic natural beauty and completely restore natural function. Think of cosmetic dentistry as plastic surgery for teeth.procedure before image Implant Cosmeticsprocedure after image Implant Cosmetics

Bad teeth run in my family so it was no surprise when I finally had to have a root canal. Although the procedure itself isn't enjoyable, I will say I felt like I was in the best hands with them.

Finally got invisalign and so far so good! They've been great with this entire process and I'm so excited for my teeth to finally be straight.

Sharon Baker | April 20, 2022

My entire family comes here for all of our dental care. Would recommend to anyone whose in need of a new dentist.

Caroline Thompson | April 14, 2022

I do two cleanings here every year and also do teeth whitening with them. Never have had any problems.

Rezi | April 10, 2022

Always been happy with my teeth cleanings here. They're very gentle with everything they do. And for someone with sensitive gums, that's very important to me!

Maiya | April 9, 2022

After having braces as a teenager and not wearing my retainer, my teeth have shifted quite a bit as I have aged. I had heard about invisalign, but didn't know a lot about it until meeting with Dr. Jobst and his team and I'm happy to say I'm several months in and can't be happier! Looking forward to a straight smile. You are never too old to fix your smile and Dr. Jobst is the one to help you!

Dana Perez | March 17, 2022

I am one of those patients that likes to know "exactly" what is going to happen and Dr. Jobst and his team does exactly that. I don't have to worry that they will start a procedure, no matter how small, without letting me know the process. The best part is they are compassionate and not judgy. Will always come to Dr. Jobst!

Brenda May | March 14, 2022

Compassionate, and caring are two words to describe Dr. Jobst and his team. I feared dentists since a bad experience in childhood, and since then it has been difficult to find someone that understands that fear. Well, I no longer fear going to the dentist or what will happen, right from the beginning to end they make you feel comfortable and educated about what will be happening.

Nellie Ross | March 9, 2022

There is no better dentist than Dr. Jobst at Grand Lake Dental and his team of professionals and that is coming from someone who has gone through several in the past year. He listens to your concerns and answers your questions no matter how trivial you think they may be, he never makes you feel that way.

Kenneth Stewart | March 5, 2022

The most comfortable, painless, rapid, and comprehensive filling experience I've ever had. Dr. Jobst work on my molar was excellent, and the politeness and professionalism of his office staff and assistant made the whole experience better than any other dental encounter I've had in many years.

Jacqueline Hudson | March 1, 2022

I had to get a root canal and was not looking forward to it. Dr. Jobst explained the plan and all went as expected. I have no pain and I have healed up nicely, which is great. I appreciate his skill in repairing my tooth.

Appreciation | February 26, 2022

Dr. Jobst fitted me for Invisalign to straighten my smile. What a huge difference! Now I can smile with abandon and not worry about what people think. Thanks Dr. Jobst!

Keith Brooke | February 22, 2022

Grand Lake Dental is a great place to keep up your dental health. Dr. Jobst is a very good dentist and everyone there is very helpful. He has kept us in check for years and we are very happy with our teeth.

Great Dentist | February 11, 2022

My family has been coming to Grand Lake Dental for some time and we like Dr. Jobst and his staff a lot. No matter what procedure we have done we are always comfortable. He makes going to the dentist better.

Colton Frank | February 6, 2022

Martha Woods | February 2, 2022

Great team here. Dr. Jobst really helps make things feel professional and still friendly. The people are always ready to answer questions, offer suggestions, and provide insights. It's great working with them.

Miriam Johnston | January 26, 2022

Dr. Jobst is really good. Every question I asked or needed answered was clearly understood when he was done. I'm glad to be working with this doctor to restore my smile.

Morris | January 17, 2022

The incredible results I got when I looked at my veneers just blew me away. I thought it would take forever to get used to them, but it didn\'t. They were helpful, friendly, and informative along the way too. I\'ll be back.

Rosaline Brunt | January 14, 2022

I am impressed with the professionalism of everyone in the office. From the staff that greets you to the doctor that checks your teeth everyone is really nice. I love having that welcoming feeling when I come in.

Veronica Burns | January 11, 2022

This is the best office I've encountered for special needs people in general but when it comes to the cosmetic stuff, they do such a great job explaining things it becomes a comfort. Being comfortable isn't something all of us with unique needs can say in every setting. It's nice this is one I can.

Joan | January 9, 2022

Honest and trustworthy dentist. We’ll run practice.
