About Kent E White DDS
Our primary focus is to promote early detection, evidence based dentistry and aesthetic dental health.
When asked what the most rewarding part about being a dentist is, Dr. White unequivocally answers that it is the emotional and physical healing and transformation that occurs in his patients as they receive the most advanced care available. How is this achieved? Well, as his patient Bobby Smith puts it, “Dr. White is a smile expert…not just another dentist. He changed my smile from the inside out. He is my ‘Smile-ologist’!”
After receiving his bachelor’s degree in chemistry from Middle Tennessee State University, Dr. White was an honor graduate of the University of Tennessee Health Science Center College of Dentistry. He then furthered his education by completing an elective general practice residency at the University of Miami School of Medicine. This medical training gives him a broader view of dental practice that helps him respond to all his patients’ oral health concerns. He also completed an implantology focused residency under the direction of two implant pioneers, Dr. Arun Garg and Dr. Carl Misch, who are world-renowned leaders in implant development. Since then, Dr. White has completed several hyper-focused live patient and minimally invasive implant courses, making him a true expert in his field.

Dental Implants
A dental implant is a root-form titanium screw that is surgically placed in the jaw to create an anchor for teeth to be built upon. Dental implants are considered the best way to replace missing teeth.
