If you are in search of a general or cosmetic dentist in the greater St. Petersburg, Florida area, we invite you to experience our difference! Dentist Kristine Marshall, DDS was awarded her dental degree in 1993 from Northwestern University dental school in Chicago, Illinois. She has been in practice since then, performing cosmetic and restorative dentistry.

Her first inspiration came from her grandfather, who was a dentist in Seoul, Korea. He practiced dentistry until his late 70’s, and she really admired him. All of her relatives became doctors and lawyers, but Dr. Marshall was the only one to follow in her grandfather’s footsteps and become a dentist. She loves what she does and feels as though she has a knack for doing it well thanks to her small hands and keen eyes. Over the years, Dr. Marshall’s practice has evolved to not just a function of patients’ needs but to enhance their overall features. In this society, we are pushing the envelope to look our best to gain self-confidence. Your smile is just part of it, and Dr. Marshall is happy to play a part in helping those who appreciate the power of a beautiful smile.

Dr. Marshall is an active member of the Academy of General Dentistry. She stays current with the latest studies and information in this area. In fact, Dr. Marshall graduated from the world-renowned Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, in the areas of occlusion and mastering mandibular and myocentric positioning, as well as full mouth reconstruction.

Dr. Kristine Marshall has made a commitment to her clients to provide technically advanced dentistry with personal attention and genuine compassion.

She is proud to be on the cutting edge of dental technology and is committed to participating in the education that keeps her there. Dr. Marshall provides dentistry that changes people’s lives, and in doing so she changes her own.

Dr. Marshall is very active in the Tampa Bay community, lending her time to various charities. She is recently married to Mayo Clinic-certified ophthalmologist, John Jarstad, M.D. Her hobbies include spending time with her Yorkshire terrier, paddle surfing, and wining and dining with friends.

Dental Implant Procedures by Dr Marshall

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a root-form titanium screw that is surgically placed in the jaw to create an anchor for teeth to be built upon. Dental implants are considered the best way to replace missing teeth.procedure before image Dental Implantsprocedure after image Dental Implants

Single Posterior Implant

The majority of dental implants involve the replacement of a back tooth. Referred to as a single posterior implant, this procedure is typically less complex and less costly than many people expect.procedure before image Single Posterior Implantprocedure after image Single Posterior Implant

Front Tooth Implant

Dental implants are an excellent option for replacing a missing front tooth in most cases. Front tooth implants are not as common as dental implants replacing missing molars or back teeth.procedure before image Front Tooth Implantprocedure after image Front Tooth Implant

Same Day Implants

With same day or immediate load implants, you can potentially receive both your implant surgery and your new teeth on the same day. However, there can be more associated risks and complications.procedure before image Same Day Implantsprocedure after image Same Day Implants

All on 4

The AO4 procedure is considered one of the most complex dental implant treatments. This procedure involves removing all natural teeth and replacing them with 4 implants and a permanent hybrid-type bridge.procedure before image All on 4procedure after image All on 4

Full Mouth Implants

Missing most or all of your teeth due to damage, periodontal disease, or tooth decay? Full mouth dental implants, which your dentist may call full mouth restoration or reconstruction, can be a great option.procedure before image Full Mouth Implantsprocedure after image Full Mouth Implants

Tooth Extractions

Sometimes referred to as “having a tooth pulled,” a tooth extraction is a very common oral surgical procedure in which a natural tooth is removed from the jaw. An implant may be placed after adequate healing time.procedure before image Tooth Extractionsprocedure after image Tooth Extractions

Bone Grafting

After teeth are extracted, bone can atrophy or shrink to the point that bone grafting is required. Bone grafting builds up bone foundations for sufficient implant stability and strength.procedure before image Bone Graftingprocedure after image Bone Grafting

Socket Preservation

Socket preservations are simple bone grafting procedures done in conjunction with tooth extractions. The goal of socket preservation is to preserve bone for a future dental implant to be placed.procedure before image Socket Preservationprocedure after image Socket Preservation

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a cap or cover that protects the tooth and restores it to mimic natural shape, size, and function. Crowns are make of zirconia or porcelain and can be either cemented or screw-retained.procedure before image Dental Crownsprocedure after image Dental Crowns

Screw Retained Crowns

A screw-retained implant crown is a single-tooth fixed restoration that is secured to a dental implant by means of a screw. Screw retained crowns are popular due to the proven long-term success they deliver.procedure before image Screw Retained Crownsprocedure after image Screw Retained Crowns

Cemented Crowns

A cemented crown is a dental crown that is secured to a dental implant using a luting agent similar to dental crowns cemented onto natural teeth. Cemented crowns are beautiful, functional, and extremely durable.procedure before image Cemented Crownsprocedure after image Cemented Crowns

Dental Bridges

An implant bridge or dental bridge is a permanent option that replaces multiple missing teeth. It literally bridges areas that are missing one or more teeth and fill in larger spaces with natural looking crowns.procedure before image Dental Bridgesprocedure after image Dental Bridges

Implant Cosmetics

The goal of implant cosmetic dentistry is to create tooth-like restorations that are strong, mimic natural beauty and completely restore natural function. Think of cosmetic dentistry as plastic surgery for teeth.procedure before image Implant Cosmeticsprocedure after image Implant Cosmetics
