Dental Implant Procedures by Dr Nguyen

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a root-form titanium screw that is surgically placed in the jaw to create an anchor for teeth to be built upon. Dental implants are considered the best way to replace missing teeth.procedure before image Dental Implantsprocedure after image Dental Implants

Single Posterior Implant

The majority of dental implants involve the replacement of a back tooth. Referred to as a single posterior implant, this procedure is typically less complex and less costly than many people expect.procedure before image Single Posterior Implantprocedure after image Single Posterior Implant

Front Tooth Implant

Dental implants are an excellent option for replacing a missing front tooth in most cases. Front tooth implants are not as common as dental implants replacing missing molars or back teeth.procedure before image Front Tooth Implantprocedure after image Front Tooth Implant

Same Day Implants

With same day or immediate load implants, you can potentially receive both your implant surgery and your new teeth on the same day. However, there can be more associated risks and complications.procedure before image Same Day Implantsprocedure after image Same Day Implants

Mini Implants

Mini dental implants, sometimes referred to as MDI or narrow-diameter implants, can be an excellent option if you’re looking to replace lost teeth in areas with less bone volume or severely limited spacing.procedure before image Mini Implantsprocedure after image Mini Implants

All on 4

The AO4 procedure is considered one of the most complex dental implant treatments. This procedure involves removing all natural teeth and replacing them with 4 implants and a permanent hybrid-type bridge.procedure before image All on 4procedure after image All on 4

Full Mouth Implants

Missing most or all of your teeth due to damage, periodontal disease, or tooth decay? Full mouth dental implants, which your dentist may call full mouth restoration or reconstruction, can be a great option.procedure before image Full Mouth Implantsprocedure after image Full Mouth Implants

Tooth Extractions

Sometimes referred to as “having a tooth pulled,” a tooth extraction is a very common oral surgical procedure in which a natural tooth is removed from the jaw. An implant may be placed after adequate healing time.procedure before image Tooth Extractionsprocedure after image Tooth Extractions

Bone Grafting

After teeth are extracted, bone can atrophy or shrink to the point that bone grafting is required. Bone grafting builds up bone foundations for sufficient implant stability and strength.procedure before image Bone Graftingprocedure after image Bone Grafting

Sinus Lift

Sometimes referred to as a sinus graft, this bone grafting procedure inserts bone into the maxillary sinus cavity. The goal is to grow enough bone to support dental implants in the posterior maxillae.procedure before image Sinus Liftprocedure after image Sinus Lift

Ridge Augmentation

Ridge augmentation is a specific type of bone graft surgery which may be required prior to placement of dental implants. Commonly done after tooth extractions, this procedure prevents ridge atrophy or shrinkage.procedure before image Ridge Augmentationprocedure after image Ridge Augmentation

Ridge Expansion

This is a type of bone grafting procedure where the bone is expanded or widened enough to support dental implants. This bone grafting procedure corrects jaw bone atrophy and shrinkage.procedure before image Ridge Expansionprocedure after image Ridge Expansion

Socket Preservation

Socket preservations are simple bone grafting procedures done in conjunction with tooth extractions. The goal of socket preservation is to preserve bone for a future dental implant to be placed.procedure before image Socket Preservationprocedure after image Socket Preservation

Dental Crowns

A dental crown is a cap or cover that protects the tooth and restores it to mimic natural shape, size, and function. Crowns are make of zirconia or porcelain and can be either cemented or screw-retained.procedure before image Dental Crownsprocedure after image Dental Crowns

Screw Retained Crowns

A screw-retained implant crown is a single-tooth fixed restoration that is secured to a dental implant by means of a screw. Screw retained crowns are popular due to the proven long-term success they deliver.procedure before image Screw Retained Crownsprocedure after image Screw Retained Crowns

Cemented Crowns

A cemented crown is a dental crown that is secured to a dental implant using a luting agent similar to dental crowns cemented onto natural teeth. Cemented crowns are beautiful, functional, and extremely durable.procedure before image Cemented Crownsprocedure after image Cemented Crowns

Dental Bridges

An implant bridge or dental bridge is a permanent option that replaces multiple missing teeth. It literally bridges areas that are missing one or more teeth and fill in larger spaces with natural looking crowns.procedure before image Dental Bridgesprocedure after image Dental Bridges

Dentures

Often made of plastic, acrylic or hard resin, dentures are outdated replacements for missing teeth that must be removed daily for cleaning. Patients typically dislike dentures and have difficulty chewing with them.procedure before image Denturesprocedure after image Dentures

Locator Overdentures

Also known as the LODI System, Locator overdentures use abutments (posts) and attachments (snaps) to secure a removable denture to dental implants. This system allows many patients to wear and use lower dentures.procedure before image Locator Overdenturesprocedure after image Locator Overdentures

Overdentures

Overdentures help solve many of the problems associated with wearing regular false teeth. Dental implants can anchor over dentures in place so they don’t move around when chewing, smiling, or talking.procedure before image Overdenturesprocedure after image Overdentures

Partial Dentures

Partial removable dentures, sometimes referred to as "partials," are removable dental appliances that replace one or more missing teeth. The replacement teeth are attached to a gum-colored acrylic base.procedure before image Partial Denturesprocedure after image Partial Dentures

Implant Cosmetics

The goal of implant cosmetic dentistry is to create tooth-like restorations that are strong, mimic natural beauty and completely restore natural function. Think of cosmetic dentistry as plastic surgery for teeth.procedure before image Implant Cosmeticsprocedure after image Implant Cosmetics

DO NOT COME HERE!! To begin, the staff and main doctor Reyna Nguyen have awful attitudes to say the least. My first consultation with her was on 5/24/21 in which we waited 2 hours in the waiting room when we had a scheduled appointment that day. I was scheduled to have my wisdom teeth removed on 6/21/21 at 11 am on that day in the office. Now I have graciously waited on this day to arrive all to be highly disappointed and deterred. We arrived early for our appointment, as we always do, and on arrival signed in. My appointment was at 11 am and we arrived 35-40 minutes before appointment time and signed in. After 11:15 am we were still waiting on the receptionist to even open the window and acknowledge our arrival. Once 11:25 was approaching my mother approached the window and was unfortunately greeted by her receptionist ( once I obtain her name I will update) who informed us that they had fired their staff and my appointment was never booked even though that day I walked out on 5/24/21 I walked out with all of my appointment details including confirmations of my appointment being made. Reyna Nguyen came out and brought us to the back to explain in which she was very dry, pushing towards rescheduling. In which I can not do because of my job and me not living locally. Once again she was very pushy and short with my mother and myself, even though she apologized it was more so to cover herself other than trying to work with us. She said they had no idea of my appointment and would try to get me in, in an hour because she had just took someone before me. In the process of all of this we were asked to sign papers again in which her receptionist staff continued to rudely cut my mother off and rush her entire conversation in which we had questions like anyone else would. Once told that we would have to wait an extra hour before being seen we proceeded to wait in the waiting room until she was ready. I then received a call from the rude receptionist who said," Well we're giving your mother a full refund and recommended you to someone else because she just can't do it anymore because of our attitudes". The receptionist refused to let us speak with her to receive an explanation as to why we were being denied service, and continued to close her window on us as we tried to speak with her. I was highly displeased with my "service" and have and will be filling complaints due to the negligence of this situation. Reyna Nguyen and her staff are very unprofessional and rude in every aspect. If you want to feel valued as a costumer and person, then I strongly suggest you go elsewhere.

Very Rude employees | June 21, 2021

Great staff. Very professional. Fast appointment times, they worked me into their schedule guickly. Clean offices. They take the time to make you feel comfortable and do everything possible to relieve your pain and anxiety. I would highly recommend them
